Engine #1

2008 Ferrara Inferno, 1250 GPM Pump, 1000 Gallon Tank. Located at Station One, it is our primary engine transporting 1200 feet of LDH, a complement of light hazardous materials and wild-land fire equipment.

 

Engine #2

 

1985 Grumman, 1250 GPM Pump, 500 Gallon Tank. The engine is currently being refurbished at Deep South Fire Apparatus.

 

Engine #3

 

1999 Ferrara, 1250 GPM Pump, 1000 Gallon Tank. This was the first new engine the department purchased.

 

Rescue 10

 

2008 Deep South F550, ALS light rescue that also serves as our service truck for structure fires. It contains a full complement of extrication equipment, rope rescue gear, thermal imager, extra SCBA units and responds to every call. It is equipped with a winch and snow chains for inclement weather. It is centrally located at station one.

 

Rescue 13

 

2008 Ford F250 4x4, BLS light rescue, housed at station three it allows rapid response to medical emergencies for our resident firefighters housed at station three. It is equipped with BLS equipment

 

Car 6

 

1999 Suburban, utility vehicle used for special events such as Tannehill State Park and Holiday Raceway. It is outfitted with BLS equipment and often is often placed into service when we receive multiple calls

 

Tanker #1

 

1991 Deep South, 2000 Gallon Tanker with rear and side discharges, also transports 2500 Gallon drop tank

 

 

 

CV-1

 

EZ-GO golf cart we use during brush fires and special events. Depending on the event it is outfitted with ALS equipment and fire extinguishers.

 

Brush 3

 

1985 Chevrolet 4x4, The vehicle was provided government surplus provided by the Alabama Forestry Commission. It is equipped with a 250 gallon tank, 250 GPM pump and a variety or wild-land fire equipment. We left it in its OD green form due to the harsh conditions of off-road firefighting.
